Happy Monday, beautiful!
Today I decided to go beyond my normal routine of plain-jane nails and have some fun with the trends popping up from the Fashion Week runways.
Although we're not usually focusing on the hands of the models going down the runway, you better believe that as much planning goes into these model's fingernails as the rest of their ensemble. From funky gems at Libertine to bright colors and studs at Kate Spade, each nail was like a little masterpiece!
But if you're anything like me, the thought of attempting those intricate nail designs can make your head spin! I am the farthest from a beauty expert, so I hoped to see some edgy yet simple-to-do styles!
Finally, while flipping through the latest issue of Seventeen (with my newest guilty pleasure Carly Rae Jepsen on the cover!) I came across a page dedicated to mani's covered in graphic lines and angles. What stuck out to me the most was a look from the Rouland Mouret Paris Fashion Week runway. Clear polish with a diagonal stripe at the tip - simple yet totally cool!
I decided to take a whack at it and I love how it turned out! Try this look out for yourself and let me know what you think!
